Senior Researcher & Head of Growth and Community

Liang is a Senior Researcher and also leads Growth, Community and Special Projects at the Harvard Crypto, Fintech and Web3 Lab.

As a Senior Researcher, he is focused on writing case studies for Harvard Business School’s MBA curriculum. He also supports the Harvard Digital, Data and Design Institute’s Artificial Intelligence initiatives.

Liang’s professional background is a mix of startups, venture capital and management consulting. He considers himself to be a “Full Stack Business Person” with a focus on strategy, growth and operations. He’s been in Web 3 since 2018 and was the first business hire at SKALE Labs, a L2 scaling solution for Ethereum. Outside of Web3, Liang has experience building and scaling teams in high growth environments.

Outside of his professional activities, Liang is an avid writer and has written for Harvard Business Review and other outlets. He regularly writes a newsletter on emerging technology, focused mainly on AI and Web3, call Evolving Internet Insights.

Liang holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
